Leah Taylor, MA, NCC, LPCC
Works with students A-K Contact Leah: [email protected] Leah grew up right here in Boulder County, graduating from Centaurus High School in 2003. She attended Colorado State University, earning a degree in Science Education. Following CSU, Leah joined the Peace Corps; serving in South Africa from 2008 to 2010 where she worked with teachers on developing best educational practices and taught women's health education workshops. Upon returning to Boulder, Leah managed federal 21st Century Grant funds for Casey MS, Columbine Elem and UniHill Elementary; this funding helped to provide extended school day and summer enrichment opportunities. Leah then spent two years at New Vista High School as their Learning Resource Coordinator. Leah graduated from University of Colorado Denver with a Masters in Counseling. Leah is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC.) In her spare time, Leah loves to travel and hike with her dog, Bruce. |
Jason Giguere, MA, NCC, LPC
Works with students L-Z Contact Jason: [email protected] Jason was born and raised in Massachusetts and moved to boulder in 2004 to be an AmeriCorps volunteer with the "I Have a Dream" Foundation. Prior to moving to Colorado, Jason graduated with a degree in English Literature from the the University of Massachusetts and hiked the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. After working many years in the bicycle and outdoor industries, Jason decided to change careers and pursue one of his other passions; helping students thrive and define their own success in school. Jason received his masters degree in counseling from the University of Colorado. He also holds credentials for being a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. Jason has been a counselor at high school and middle school levels and loves working with middle school students and families at Centennial. When not working, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, skiing endless powder, biking anywhere possible, and fly fishing. |
